What is ABA?

ABA stands for Applied Behavior Analysis. Simply put, we take years of science and research and strategically apply them to your unique lives in order to achieve desired outcomes. Those outcomes are determined through several processes. We use a variety of assessment materials to identify socially significant goals as well as concerns related to behaviors. Behavior is EVERYTHING we do. From the routine we have before bed to how we handle stressful situations. Our ultimate goal is to apply our interventions to your child’s life in the most natural way possible while focusing on desired outcomes that your family has expressed as important to you. Our ABA model focuses on comprehensive services which typically include a wide variety of targeted skills. A few of the skills we target include social skills, communication, emotion development, play skills, safety skills, family relationships and reduction of interfering behaviors.
